The first After Effects project that we start on. At first, I was startled on which video I should make. After browsing through Video Copilot website, an effect on Light Streak caught my attention! I went down to Orchard road and record several videos for the use of light streak effects. But because it requires Particular plugin, I was stucked and I couldn't carry on doing it. I downloaded the plugin but the plugin didn't came out. I even chat with the staff online to ask why the problems would occur, but at the end, I still couldn't solve the problem.
Because the plugin couldn't work, so I tried another type of effects, which is the water droplet effect and the earthquake effect. This makes my video looks like a 'disaster' type of clip!
For this lab, it was pretty easy to catch up with the adjusting of colour, saturation and brightness. Also, its simple by just adjusting them in AE. Most importantly, having the best colour in a video is important too. Thus, these is the best tools to help making a successful video.
This tutorial was pretty easy. Adjusting the control was easy and simple too. Lastly, it's interesting!!
Halo event footage
This tutorial requires us to cover up the name of the mall with a white wall. And i used the perimeter selection to cover it. It's done just by a few minutes!
This exercise is a scene extracted from the movie 'Indiana Jones'. I'm amazed by the use of pen tool for the masking part which helps to cover the blood stain from the back! It's a fun exercise!
Hello! It's a start of a new semester being in Year 3.1! This is the first time I'm in touch with Adobe After Effects, after doing the first tutorial, it caught my attention greatly! This software gave me a 'very tough to use feel' once I look at it. But I'm surprised with the amazing effects that we can do using it. NICE! (Y)
And here's the first lab exercise, the use of the word effect is pretty easy and it will also be in great use for video making in the future! :)
